A high performance and comprehensive solution

The external thermal insulating products suggested by KD Finition are made in France. They are certified and under CSTB Technical Approval to meet all the needs of facade insulation, for collective and individual housing facilities, for tertiary buildings or for public facilities, newly built or under renovation.

They are adjustable to various types of supports: concrete masonry, wood, timber or aluminium frame, existing plaster coating.

They can be installed vertically or horizontally.

They perfectly meet the current thermal performance requirements and the desire to use bio sourced materials in the building systems and to use recycled raw materials.

It is a solution that contributes globally to renovation of buildings, similarly to roof insulating solutions, heating systems, controlled mechanical ventilation systems, solar panels, energy management systems, joinery.

The patented fixing systems enable to avoid the junction thermal bridge and to treat structural thermal bridge of the building.

Supplementary insulator or padding

The first insulating layer should be determined depending on the building system, namely, on the substrate, on the type of building, on the building site area constraints (seismic, wind) and the desired performances.

Cladding on masonry: insulating supplement

Implementation principle

Fitted directly on the M32 or M62 panel on support owing to the PVC edge with thermal bridge break (no frame, runners or hooks), only with mechanical fixing.

Fitted over masonry: high-performance, simple, and fast solution

Implementation principle

Facade coatings are applied on a related supplementary insulator, without frame and air gap. They are attached across the PVC edge, directly on the support wall, by means of pins crossing the supplementary insulation.

On a former ETI (EMI)

Implementation principle

Facade cladding should be applied on a pre-existing insulation (former ETI in EMI), without frame and air gap. The product is fixed across the PVC edge, directly in the wall support, by means of pins crossing the supplementary insulation.

  • Possibility of a ratio of a minimum M32 with a supplementary insulator for a minimum 3.70 R (EEC support)
  • Avoids the peeling of the former ETI

Implementation on a Wood Frame Construction or Wood Frame House: supplement of insulation and finishing

Implementation principle

Direct fixing of M32 or M62 panel on an OSB support with mechanical fixing

  • Possible horizontal installation of the panel: no constraints with 60 cm an inter-axle
  • Possible vertical installation of the panel: fixing should be in the fixing devices; inter-axle between the COB fixing devices should be 50 cm (corresponding to the width of the blades)
  • Allows to meet the demands referring to industrialised solutions with installation in workshop

> Installation of non-ventilated panel coating on COB or MOB

Implementation principle

On COB or MOB furring strips are added among which an insulated layer is integrated. Myral cladding system is fixed directly on the furring strips.
This installation is used only for vertical installation of the panel with a view to preserving 60 cm inter-axle between the fixing devices (manufacturers’ usual inter-axle).

On a masonry support

Implementation principle

Installation of primary frame, fixing the panels on the frame supports, installation of an insulator between the fixing devices, until the back of the panels and obstruction of the air gap.
